How can I restrict access to my WordPress login page?

To restrict access to wp-login.php, add the following to your .htaccess file:

Order deny,allow
Deny from all
Allow from x.x.x.x

• Replace x.x.x.x: Use your IP address, checked at http://www.whatismyip.com/.
• Effect: Only your IP can access wp-login.php; others will see a 403 Forbidden error.
