Why does it take time for my domain to work after un-parking it?

When a domain was parked, it used parked domain name servers. Once you change it to a hosted domain, it switches to:
dns1.freehostia.com dns2.freehostia.com
The update process can take several hours, and full propagation may require up to 24 hours.
No further action is needed. Please allow extra time and check again later.
Domain name: wholesalerfid.com is correctly configured as hosted.
