Why is my IP blocked by Fail2Ban on the mail server?

Your IP was blocked by Fail2Ban due to excessive email sending attempts after reaching the account’s email rate limit:

  • Per Mailbox: 50 emails/hour, 300 emails/24 hours
  • Per Account: 150 emails/hour, 1500 emails/24 hours
  • Max Recipients per Email: 50 (each counts as one email)

Continued attempts while the limit is exceeded are treated as an attack, triggering the block. Stop sending attempts for at least 24 hours to allow the rate to reset and the block to lift. Secure your email accounts with strong passwords to prevent unauthorized access.
